• Site is located in an affluent commercial area of South Mumbai.
• This case study is a perfect example of retrofitting security fencing solution to existing development.
• Fencing solution to be offered without touching the existing masonry compound wall

• Fencing Solution is to be designed without touching the existing compound wall.
• The need for security was expected to be 3m high to dissuade/ delay the intruder from jumping over. This triggered the sense of claustrophobic spatial experience.
• Parking is already an issue in Mumbai & being a working commercial office premise. Detailed Installation planning has to be done in reference to have minimum disturbance to parking.
• At few places Services lines run along the compound wall.
• Site is close to Arabian Sea area hence consideration of wind load & coating of metal fencing becomes crucial.

• With mentioned site elements & UNICO platform – one can come up with great mix of UNICO systems .
• Here – UNICOCrown ( for its robust function) is clubbed with UNICOAura( for its illumination)
• It allowed the users to cater how every space can be emphasized.

• There was one major challenge on the site.
• The trees all along the Compound Walls.
• Some were overlapped on the CW / Few are very close to compound wall/ few at distance from CW.

However this was tackled by looking at it in a customized way.

• If trees were overlapping – circumventing with Gabion is proposed.
• If the trees too close – fence climbed over the Compound Wall.
• At few cases, fence has space to pass behind the trees.

After further dealings with elements on site, proposal were made to satisfy security & aesthetic.
